As the young professionals and youth arm of Africa Mission North America (AMNA), Harvesters exist to not only proclaim the Gospel but to demonstrate the love of God through tangible acts of service and compassion. We are committed to supporting the mission fields assigned to AMNA by the Africa Missions Global (AMG), which include South Africa, Lesotho, Mozambique, and Eswatini.
Through our initiatives, we seek to embody Christ’s love by meeting physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in underserved communities; making a lasting impact that points people to Jesus Christ.
We believe education is a powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty. Our programs support the building and renovation of schools, provision of learning materials, scholarships, vocational training, and mentorship for youth; empowering the next generation with the skills and confidence to lead.
We partner with local organizations and medical professionals to provide healthcare services, medical supplies, and health education to underserved populations. Through community health outreaches, vaccination campaigns, and mobile clinics, we aim to improve overall well-being and access to quality care.
We support projects that promote sustainable community growth — including clean water initiatives, sanitation projects, and housing support. These efforts help create healthier living environments and improve quality of life for families and communities.
We promote financial independence through microenterprise initiatives, skills training, and cooperative support systems that help families and individuals become self-sufficient. Our goal is to build sustainable livelihoods that foster dignity and resilience.
In times of crisis, we respond with compassion. Whether it’s natural disasters, hunger crises, or displacement, we mobilize resources and volunteers to provide relief materials such as food, clothing, and shelter.
At the heart of every project is the Gospel. Beyond meeting physical needs, we aim to share the message of salvation and hope through Christ, helping people experience God’s love and grow in faith.
The AMNA Harvesters operate under the leadership of the Harvesters Directors and report directly to the AMNA Board of Directors. This structure ensures accountability, alignment with AMG’s mission, and effective coordination of all programs and initiatives.
