Pastor Abimbola Abeni Daramola, affectionately known as Pastor Abby, is a distinguished humanitarian leader, senior pastor, nonprofit executive, and global development practitioner with over 25 years of leadership and service across faith-based ministry, humanitarian intervention, education, global health, and community development.
She is the Senior Pastor of Restoration Church in Greenbelt, Maryland, where her ministry is anchored in restoring hope, rebuilding lives, and empowering individuals to walk in purpose and faith. She also serves as a Provincial Pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), ministering across local and international platforms with a strong emphasis on spiritual growth, leadership development, and compassionate service.
Beyond the pulpit, Pastor Abby is the President of Africa Missions Global North America (AMG-NA), a 501(c)(3) faith-based organization dedicated to reaching, restoring, and rebuilding lives and communities across Africa. Under her leadership, AMG-NA has executed large-scale, multi-country initiatives in education, humanitarian relief, and capacity building across Southern and Sub-Saharan Africa. Notable among these efforts are virtual learning initiatives serving tens of thousands of underserved children, post-COVID revitalization of schools, vocational training programs, and sustainable community development projects aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 – Quality Education.
She is also the Founder and Chairperson of Master’s Touch, Inc., a nonprofit organization established to provide immediate relief and long-term support to vulnerable individuals and families in both the United States and Africa. Master’s Touch focuses on humanitarian response, education, and healthcare support, with a specialized commitment to children and families affected by blood disorders and cancer, including sickle cell disease. Her humanitarian philosophy is guided by the core values summarized as CARE: Compassionate, Accountable, Responsible, and committed to Excellence.
In addition, Pastor Abby is the Chief Executive Officer of Blooming Branches Learning Center (BBKIDS), which operates two licensed early learning and childcare centers in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Through BBKIDS, she has championed safe, nurturing, and high-quality educational environments for young children while supporting working families and strengthening community outcomes.
Professionally, Pastor Abby brings a rare blend of technical expertise, executive leadership, and humanitarian insight. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics (Honors) from Bowie State University, graduate studies in Computer Science from The George Washington University, and an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Lagos. She is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Risk Management and completed Executive Education in Nonprofit Management and Leadership at Harvard Kennedy School. Her career spans senior leadership roles in information technology, healthcare systems, global health initiatives, and disaster relief programs, including managing multimillion-dollar budgets, large cross-cultural teams, and complex international partnerships.
In recognition of her lifelong dedication to service, leadership, and nation-building, Pastor Abby was awarded the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2023 by President Joseph R. Biden, Jr., honoring her sustained impact through volunteerism and humanitarian leadership.
