About Pastor Margaret Adeyokunnu

Pastor Margaret Adeyokunnu was called into Ministry from her youth and has continued in that grace for over a period of 40 years. She is an impactful leader, teacher, mentor and pastor to thousands in her generation, all to the glory of God.

She is a board member of Africa Missions North America, a missionary arm of RCCG global that evangelizes for souls and cares for the poor in developing countries. From this platform, she heads the missionary work in Swaziland.

In July 2024, Pastor Margaret was promoted as Regional Pastor, RCCG Americas 1, from which she recently retired in August 2025. Previously, she was the Special Assistant to the Continental Overseer of RCCG for five years, as well as the President of “Women-in-Ministry” (a group that convenes women in leadership across the United States of America), for over 20 years.

At her home base and together with her husband, Pastor Margaret has pastored RCCG Victory Temple, in Laurel and Bowie, Maryland, for almost thirty 30 years; from the two parishes, over 60 parishes have been birthed in the Victory Temple family, across Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC metropolis and in India. In India, she and her husband, by the power of the Holy Spirit, brought many into salvation and God used them to establish over 40 churches there. The community projects they supported in India are still thriving till date.

Her speaking engagements have taken her across the United States of America, Canada, Great Britain, Israel, The Netherlands, Austria, Kenya, India and Nigeria. In all these roles, God has used Pastor Margaret to impact lives and heal marriages. Awards bestowed on her are many and varied, amongst which is a citation in acknowledgement of her spiritual leadership and dedicated service by the Governor of Maryland. She was awarded honorary Doctor of Divinity and honorary Doctor of Philosophy (Humane Letters) by CICA International University and Seminary. She has a Bachelor of Arts with honours in Education, from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) and a Master’s degree, with specialization in Yoruba, from the University of Lagos.

She is married to Pastor Adebayo Adeyokunnu and they are blessed with biological children, grand children and thousands of spiritual children. We praise the Lord for His great works through her.
